I have never actually celebrated Mardi Gras before so everyone took it into their hands to show me what it was all about!
We got out of school Mon-Wensday so we started our festivites that friday night and partied until Wensday!
On Friday night I went to New Orleans with Brandon and we met a group oif our friends down their to see the parade. Me and Brandon had planned to stay in a hotel with our friends that night but we decided to save money and just make the hour and a half drive back to Hattiesburg so we could sleep all the next day. Friday night was ALOT of fun, we caught over 3 bags of beads!
Then on Monday night I threw a Mardi Gras Party at my apartment! That was def exciting! We all had a great time!
Then Tuesday night we went to Ropers and danced and cut up while celebrating Mardi Gras! So i really got to experience everything about Mardi Gras, the king cake, beads, masks, parties,and floats!

Glad you did this post! Love getting to know what all you are doing. I am jealous that you got to go to New Orleans! I have always wanted to go there. I am afraid to go for Mardi Gras because big crowds scare me, but looks like you braved it and did well. I'm not entirely jealous, I'm excited for you too! Look at you-living it up in college!
